Obama has my vote... →
I frequently see “why we shouldn’t like obama” messages on Tumblr from open minded, liberal folks. But my question is, what’s the alternative? Nothing is going to be perfect, regardless of who gets voted into office. But who will bring us closer to that? This man has proved time and time again, he is in favor of basic human rights. Sure, he’s not perfect, and I certainly have my issues with his stance in regards to EC a few months ago. But hey, I’ll take this.
Takes a lot of balls to say this message during an election year. This is the RIGHT thing to be saying, which is not what many politicians do these days. Most politicians stick with the politically advantageous. If nothing else, he should gets votes for being real, even if you are sold on marriage equality.
